House with blue boards being prepared
Project summary
This house was damaged in last years storms and some of the walls needed to be re-fixed. The insurance company had a look at it and Charlie and Sons took the job to match the old Granosite surface using our techniques.
The surface is called 2mm Granosite Strike. First some walls were being rebuilt with blue boards. We prepare all blue board joints with double layers of mesh using patch and prep. Like all other rendering jobs, Â we use plastic corners to give the corners that extra strength and straight look. Finally we render the walls and use a trowel to achieve the 2mm granosite strike look.
